How Does Venus Glow work?

The Venus Glow™ vacuum gently pulls the skin to open up pores by removing impurities and excess oil. At the same time, the tip spins 360 degrees to evenly spread the purified water that comes from two jet streams. Each jet stream is smaller than the average pore size, enabling them to deep-clean the pores well. The vacuum and spinning tip micro-massage the skin to spread nutrients released from the bloodstream, nourishing the skin for an instant glow. Venus Glow™ works to:

Am I a good candidate for this treatment? / Will this treatment work for me?
To get the best results from a Venus Glow™ Facial treatment, or a series of treatments, you should speak to your skincare professional to discuss your specific skin concerns and goals and to develop an appropriate treatment plan.
Anyone can receive a Venus Glow™ facial treatment; however, for safety reasons, you may not be able to get this treatment if you have/are:
- Superficial metal or other implants in the treatment area
- Current or history of cancer, or current condition of any type of cancer, or pre-malignant moles
- Pregnant and nursing
- Any active condition in the treatment area, such as sores, psoriasis, eczema, and rash
- History of skin disorders, keloids, abnormal wound healing, including very dry and fragile skin or very easy bruising
- Any surgical procedure in the treatment area within the last three months or before complete healing
- Inflamed/pustular acne lesions
- Undergone facial laser resurfacing and deep chemical peeling within the last month
- In case of Botox injection, natural fillers and/or implants in the treatment area, wait one month after the last injection before starting a treatment
Can I do it during my lunch break?
Absolutely! Exact treatment times may vary depending on each individual, but a single session typically takes between 15 minutes and 45 minutes. Speak to your skin care professional about your availability and desired schedule.
How many sessions will I need to see results?
Results are instant. Your skin will look noticeably healthier, cleaner, and more hydrated immediately after each treatment session. A series of treatments may be suggested to you for the best long-term results depending on your skin care goals.
How often/far apart should the treatments be?
Treatments may be performed as often as once a week. The actual number of sessions that will be suggested to you depends on the treatment area, and the initial condition of the skin. In addition to deep-cleaning and treating the skin with a variety of highly recommended treatment serums, Venus Glow™ also works well to prep and maintain your skin before or after other aesthetic and skin care treatments.

Each session lasts 15-45 minutes, depending on the customized treatment protocol being used.
What does the treatment feel like?
You may feel the gentle suction of the applicator on your skin as the operator moves the tip across the treatment area. You may also feel a slight coolness as the Glow Serums cleanse and treat your skin. There is no pain or discomfort associated with the treatment, rather most patients find it to be a very relaxing treatment experience.
Will it be painful?
No, treatments are very comfortable and quite relaxing.
How will I feel after my treatment?

Is there really no downtime?
There is absolutely no downtime. The treatment area may appear slightly flushed, which is normal, and should resolve quickly. You’ll notice that your skin will have an instant glow after the treatment.
Do I need to do anything after my treatment?
Your skin care professional will suggest appropriate post-care, which will generally include wearing sunscreen, especially after a Venus Glow™ facial treatment with a customized Glow Serums treatment.
Can I put on makeup or lotion right after my treatment?
You should discuss post-care with your skin care professional, especially after a Venus Glow™ facial treatment with a customized serum infusion.
