Cosmetic Injections – Ageless Skin Treatment
Details Make All The Difference!
Diminish signs of aging and relax the muscles on your face to smooth out lines and wrinkles such as crow’s feet, frown lines, forehead lines, marionette lines, bunny lines, nasolabial folds, and mental creases. This treatment is also used to shape and lift eyebrows, increase lip volume, and even treat excessive sweating and migraines.
What You Should Know Before Your First Appointment
- Botulinum toxin is a neuromodulator. It interrupts the message sent by nerves to muscles, causing them to relax.
- The more units you have, the less movement your facial muscles can make. That means your skin may stay wrinkle-free longer. Our botulinum neurotoxins can prevent early wrinkles and treat existing ones. Prior to your injection, we always do a full-face consultation. During this consultation we ask you to smile, frown and raise your eyebrows so that we can ensure that the final result is natural-looking.
- Our cosmetic injections start to work in 3 to 5 days with outstanding results at two weeks and it lasts for 3-4 months. Jeuveau starts working much faster and can last in some people up to 5 months.
- The most common side effect of this treatment is bruising. We avoid going near large blood vessels, but everyone’s anatomy is different, and it is possible to hit a small one. If this happens, the bruising should go away within a week.
- At @valeriyalife.spa, our cosmetic injections range between $9/unit and $12/unit depending on the brand and the number of units you purchase. Jeuveau ranges between $9/unit and $11/unit. Your total price depends on how many areas you want treated, your current skin condition, and what your goals are for the treatment. We accept Alle points for our cosmetic injections and offer $40 off every 90 days for Jeuveau when you purchase 20 or more units.
Botulinum Aftercare Instructions
Make the most of your treatment with these aftercare instructions.
Sit Up: Botulinum injections are administered into the superficial muscle of one or more areas. For the drug to work as efficiently as possible, it must be given time to fully absorb. Lying down too soon could create a risk of the toxin migrating away from its target area. Lying down also increases the risk of bruising. Play it safe and stay upright for at least 4 hours after your treatment.
Wait 24 Hours To Exercise: If you exercise every day as a part of your general wellness routine, we suggest doing so before your appointment and then waiting 24 hours for your next workout session. Depending on the type of exercise you tend to do, your provider may suggest holding off for a few days. Walking tends to be fine, so long as you don’t increase your heart rate too much. Doing so increases the risk of bruising. After your injection, it can be beneficial to smile, frown, and raise your eyebrows to help the product integrate into the muscle better.
Pass On The Cocktails: Alcoholic beverages increase the risk of bruising and should be avoided 24 hours before and 24 hours after injectable treatments.
Give Your Face A Break: To prevent spreading the toxin, it is recommended to avoid touching your face for about 3 days. You can wash your face but do so gently, without pressing. Avoid exfoliating scrubs, facial massages, and facials. Also try to avoid any other activities that will put pressure on your face like bending over or wearing tight-fitting hats or headbands.

Frequently asked questions about botulinum injection
How do cosmetic injections work?
Botulinum targets one of the underlying causes of frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines — the repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, smiling and raising the eyebrows over the years. Your aesthetic injector will inject these muscles with a neurotoxin to temporarily reduce muscle activity. You will notice your frown lines, your crow’s feet lines and your forehead lines temporarily look better.
Will my face look overdone or un-natural?
Botulinum is a technique-sensitive treatment. You can trust our aesthetic injectors to deliver natural-looking results. At Valeriya Life, you will be treated by someone who is licensed, trained, and is a medical expert in facial anatomy. So you’ll look like yourself—only with less noticeable lines. No one should be able to tell you’ve had anything done. Compare the before and after pictures of real patients in our gallery, and see the difference for yourself.
How can I save on my cosmetic injection?
Be wary of discount products or “cheap” botulinum – if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Your cost of a cosmetic injection does not only includes the price of the product, but more importantly, the skill and expertise of the specialist or healthcare professional who is administering your treatment. The best way to save money on your treatments is to enroll in Allē, the aesthetics loyalty program. With Allē, you can earn points and rewards for savings on future treatments. It’s easy and free to join! You can also save $40 on Jeuveau injections every 90 days when you get 20 or more units.
Do I need to be over 40 to start using botulinum toxin?
It’s not your age that determines when this treatment is right for you, it’s the severity of your lines and wrinkles. In fact, 64% of plastic surgeons report seeing a rise in cosmetic surgery or injectable treatments for patients in their early 30’s.
The truth is, everyone’s lines form differently. The timing can be influenced by a combination of factors, from cellular changes that may occur over time, to reduction of collagen, to genetic factors, or damage caused by free radicals from the sun and the environment.
If your lines and wrinkles start being visible to the point where its bothering you, go speak with your doctor. They can help you determine if such treatment is right for you.
How much time does a cosmetic injection take? Will it hurt?
Our aesthetic nurses will discuss your treatment goals and perform a facial analysis to determine the appropriate treatment areas for you. If you are deemed to be an appropriate candidate, the injection may take place on that same day. Some patients report that being injected with a botulinum toxin feels like a pinch. Your injector may use ice to numb the treatment area. Or, if you are concerned about discomfort, our specialist may apply a topical numbing cream before administering your treatment. Treatment requires minimal downtime. So you can return to your daily routine immediately after you leave our office.
Will I see results quickly? How long does this cosmetic injection last?
You may begin to notice results within 24 to 48 hours, with full results in 30 days, lasting up to 3-4 months for moderate to severe frown lines. Remember that results vary from patient to patient, so your aesthetic injector will plan your next appointment based on your results and aesthetic goals. Start talking about your goals with our specialist today and find out what you could expect.

How many injections will I receive?

For the frown lines area, we will administer 5 injections into the muscles between your brows and in your forehead.
For the forehead lines area, our specialist will administer 5 injections into a muscle in your forehead.
